The 30-day figures are equivalent usage costs. Bags are purchased whole, and unused food carries over into the following month. Prices shown are the current standard variant prices.
The 30-day estimate assumes this food is your dog’s main diet. Treats, toppers and other foods add calories and should be taken into account when calculating daily portions. As a general guide, treats should make up no more than 10% of daily calories.
This calculation applies specifically to Duck A L'Orange Grain-Free Dry Dog Food.
Feeding recommendations may vary between recipes because their nutritional composition and energy content can differ. Recalculate the portion if you change to another recipe.
Feeding guides are a starting point. Adjust the amount to suit your dog’s body condition, activity level and individual needs.

Dewkes Dog Food Frequently Asked Questions
A good place to begin is with your dog’s weight. That gives you a rough idea of how much food they need across the day.
On each of our dog food product pages you'll find a handy calculator which gives you a rough.
Feeding recommendations may vary between our different dog food varieties because their nutritional composition and energy content can differ. Recalculate the daily/portion size if you change to another recipe.
Most adult dogs do best when this is split into two meals a day, usually one in the morning and one in the evening.
These amounts are a starting point, and it’s important to adjust based on your dog’s individual needs.
The best way to check you’re feeding the right amount is by looking at your dog’s body condition and energy levels. You should be able to feel their ribs without pressing too hard and see a clear waist.
Treats should also be considered and should make up no more than around 10% of what they eat. If you’re using treats regularly, especially for training, it’s a good idea to slightly reduce their main meals to keep everything balanced.
Grain-free dog food is often chosen for its digestibility and high protein content. By removing ingredients like wheat and maize, these recipes can be gentler on sensitive stomachs while supporting healthy digestion, steady energy levels, and overall wellbeing. Many dog owners also notice improvements in coat condition and reduced digestive discomfort after switching to a grain-free diet.
Grain-free dog food can be a great option for many dogs, but it isn’t essential for every pet. Dogs without sensitivities can still do well on diets that include grains. However, if your dog has digestive issues or ingredient intolerances, a grain-free recipe like Dewkes can provide a simpler, protein-rich alternative. If you’re unsure, your vet can help guide the best choice for your dog.
Yes, grain-free dog food can help dogs with allergies or sensitive stomachs, particularly if they react to common grains like wheat. By focusing on carefully selected ingredients and high-quality protein sources, these recipes may help reduce itching, loose stools, and digestive upset. For dogs with ongoing symptoms, choosing a simple, well-balanced grain-free diet can make a noticeable difference.
Dewkes grain-free dog food is made with high-quality protein, nutritious vegetables, and essential vitamins and minerals to support complete and balanced nutrition.
Our recipes are carefully developed without added grains, artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives - so you can feel confident about what’s in your dog’s bowl. Full ingredient are listed on each product page.
To switch to a grain-free dog food, gradually introduce Dewkes over 7–10 days. Start by mixing a small amount with your dog’s current food, then slowly increase the proportion each day.
This gentle transition helps support healthy digestion and reduces the risk of stomach upset, making the change as smooth as possible for your dog.
